​As the project leader of CREATE Project (Corridor Restoration of Animals Threatened & Endangered), a collaborative project with Kansas City Zoo USA, Mark manages a team of local communities on a forest restoration project to restore important and critical wildlife corridors in the Kinabatangan and he’s  also key team member of APE Malaysia. Asides that, he is also the Project Manager of Animal Projects & Environmental Education Sdn. Bhd., who handles international team of volunteers and student groups on environmental based project with key emphasis on conservation and animal welfare. Before working on those mega projects, Mark was a tourist guide, leading tourist on various inbound tours throughout Sabah in the past for 6 years from Borneo Eco Tours Sdn. Bhd. He has been awarded for his outstanding guide for excellence in service by Borneo Eco Tours and the Best Tourist Guide (Nature Guide) by Tourism Malaysia.
